A beautiful example of a late 19th century smoker's bow chair, crafted in solid oak and stamped J Elliot & Sons , an important furniture maker in High Wycombe, England of whom three chair examples are in the collection of The Museum of the Home in London.Features curved backrest, turned spindles, and straight tapered legs with stretcher for strength.
