This pair of 19th-century French bronze chenets features Rococo revival designs with acanthus leaves, grapes, and wheat sheaves. Marked with foundry stamps and a sculptor’s monogram, they measure about 22 inches tall. These fire dogs combine decorative appeal with practical use, showing natural patina and excellent condition, typical of the Napoleon III period.
